The tech also performed a battery and found the battery is weak and recommend replacement. The tech noted the power steering leak will require further inspection to pinpoint the cause of the leak. The tech pulled the pan, found the fluid full, varnished and due for service. The tech completed the service and performed the vehicle inspection. Tech noted oil pressure gauge is intermittent, the engine has runability issues present along with misfire codes. The tech recommend further engine inspection for codes, and inspect the fuel level sensor, along with the oil pressures. Advised customer of findings.
  • Upon inspection the tech found the magnet has more metal than we like to see at normal service intervals. The tech noted slight noise on acceleration. The tech completed the service.

At this time the tech recommend replace the shifter assembly and re test. Advised customer of findings, customer approved verbally by phone.
  • After the repairs were complete the tech found the dash is reading correctly, the vehicle will achieve and hold the park position. No other recommendations at this time.
