car and truck differential repair tacomaYour wheel differential has an important function.  If your differentials are not working correctly, then making turns and other vehicle manuevers will be too dangerous.  Properly working differentials will help your wheels turn at the same speed.

Our driveline repair and service maintains your u-joint, currier bearings and driveline hardware.  Differentials can have worn out carrier, ring and pinion bearings.  When these parts wear out noises start to surface.  Differential noises may include howling and whirring when making turns or with acceleration.  Your differential can start to wear if your gears aren't lubricated properly.  Other causes of differential problems include worn or broken axles.

If you're noticing handling problems or strange noises when turning, contact us immediately.  Transmission Sales and Service provides thorough and safe differential services.  We'll inspect every part of your differential system.  Our certified technicians will check your spider gears, ring, pinion and carrier bearings.  We'll find the sources of your differential problem and repair it at an affordable price.  Avoid potential handling problems with our differential services.

Transmission Cooling Systems

This is a critical part for a proper operating transmission.  One of the biggest killers of transmissions are heat, as your transmission is running and operating it is creating heat.  You need a cooler to keep the transmission fluid from becoming overheated and burnt.  Every vehicle on the road either has an external transmission cooler, or your transmission fluid is ran through the outside core of your engine radiator.  The radiator has a separate chamber for your transmission fluid to run through, as the center core of the radiator is for the anti-freeze to cool your engine.  On some of the HD applications, such as HD trucks and RV, you have an external transmission cooler ran in series with your radiator.  This is also good for any vehicle that is used for a heavy duty application, such as towing, hauling, and excessive driving.  Installing an external transmission cooler is an inexpensive insurance to help prevent the transmission from overheating and the end result is premature failure.  Hayden, Tru-cool or OE are great products.  Simple to install without modification.
